Birmingham Legion FC Legacy Numbers

The Birmingham Legion Legacy Numbers are an initiative to recognize every player who has made an on-field contribution to the Three Sparks, big or small, since the club’s inaugural season in 2019.

Starting with the club’s first competitive game March 10, 2019, against Bethlehem Steel, each player has been assigned a number to denote their place in Birmingham Legion history. Number’s 1-11 were assigned alphabetically to the players who made up the Black and Gold’s first ever starting XI, while all subsequent numbers are assigned in order of appearance for the club.

Later games that also saw multiple debuts once again resort to alphabetical ordering if the players were in the starting lineup, while substitutes making their debuts the same day are listed in order they entered the pitch.
